Cittanova
An Italian port of great antiquity - ruled by the Venetians for several centuries. Now also called Novigrad.
This "New Town" was new to the Bishops of Venice in 1000A.D.and has remained a delightful small port with its own fishing fleet.

Around the harbour there are restaurants and bars and the marina is full of boats cruising the Adriatic. Cittanova is 15 mins drive from the Villa and is a delightful place to watch the sun setting. Our favourite bar is called 'Vitriol' and is a great place to chill out at.
